Affinity Clinic was found by Dr. Joe Turner. The original name is the Tifton clinic as a solo office in 1964. Dr. Joe Turner was first shared office space with Dr. Jim Kirkpatrick a local surgeon. Additional practice space and physicians were needed due to the rapidly increasing medical practice and new hospital facilities.
In 1968 five acres of land were purchase from the Tift General Hospital and a new Tifton medical clinic was built, with the second building the Tifton pediatric clinic owned by Dr. William Bridge.
In 1968 Dr. Robert Wight Joined the practice Followed by Dr. Richard Mccullough. In 1981 Dr. Steve Rigdon join the clinic. Although many have followed these physicians laid the foundation for progressive benefits and health care, Characteristics of this treatment practice.
By 1994, the clinic had grown to 14 physicians and needed additional office space again. In 1997 the Affinity clinic was moved on highway 41 in Tifton in 1997. Now the clinic has 45 physicians and still expanding. Affinity Clinic provides special care near the homes of south Georgia residents.
