In 1957 the Hannibal Clinic was found by the four physicians. The physician’s name is Dr. Richard M. Strong (General Medicine), Dr. Francis R. Burns (OB/GYN), Dr. Wyeth Hamlin (Internal Medicine) and Dr. Daniel B. Landau (Pediatricians). Hannibal clinic was open on 24 April 1957 at 1001 Broadway in Hannibal. Their physicians are available on call 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
This clinic was moved to a 6000 square foot building containing examination rooms, minor surgery, Full laboratory, X-ray facilities, Business offices, and waiting room at the 711 grand in Hannibal. In 1982 this clinic has 14 physicians and 50 full time and part-time non-physicians employees.
The Hannibal clinic was proudly serving their community for more than 50 years and will do so in the future.
