Indigo Return Policy in 2023 (Updated)

If you are not satisfied with your Indigo purchase, you can easily return your Items by knowing the Indigo Return Policy. Indigo & Cloth staff make every effort to ensure that the items arrive in perfect order. If you are required to return an item, be aware that all things should return in the same condition they were when received, not damaged, worn, or washed, and with the original tags attached.
If you’re not satisfied with the products you received, you can return them to us within 28 days from the date of purchase with receipt, provided they are in resalable, original condition.

Most items can return for a complete refund up to 30 days after the shipping date.
If you have any item delivered only by appointment, contact the Customer Service team at 1-833-463-4461 or visit to process your return.

There are two choices for returns that are free:

Return to any Chapters, Indigo or Coles Store

Send the item(s) along with packaging slips to any of our stores, and we’ll gladly transfer the money back to the original credit-debit card or your online bank account.


Return your Items through Canada Post

Follow these simple instructions to send your item(s) back via Canada Post.

Log in to the Account Centre, your order history, and look up the order you’d like to return. Choose’request a return’. You could use the guest search tool if you purchased the product as an individual guest.

Please print out the return label and stick it on the exterior of your parcel.

Send your package to any Canada Post outlet. Items marked with our return label will be shipped for free.


Indigo Return Policy for In-store Purchase?

Suppose you purchase any items from the Indigo Physical stores. You can return it within 30 days from the date of Purchase to any Indigo physical stores. 


Refund and Processing

You’ll be notified via email when your returned package is delivered to the store. It is important to note that returns typically take 5 to 7 business days to be processed. Refunds may take several days to reflect on your original payment method. This is contingent on the financial institution you use.

The items you purchase from one of our locations may return to us at any of our stores. Exchanges or refunds can be granted within 30 days of your purchase date if the product is returned in its original good condition and receipt.

Take the item(s) along with your packing slip to any retailer, and we’ll credit the amount to the original credit cards or your account online.
