Mec is confident in the quality of its items. If the product doesn’t meet your expectations, you can return it.

We also offer a guarantee on the product recommendations that we provide.

If the product you bought following the advice is found to be incompatible and you wish to return it for a replacement refund, or even credit. Refunds are subject to certain restrictions.

Purchases without an account require an original receipt or confirmation email to return items within 30 days of your purchase date.

 

I’m not in the vicinity of the store. What do I do to make an exchange or return?

Return the item to the address you have listed and include an enclosed return form along with the product.

The customer must pay for the return shipping if the return is not connected to warranty issues.

We can’t take exchanges via mail. However, you can purchase a replacement item online (or over the phone) and then return the original item in the mail. Contact us for assistance.

 

What happens if I’ve removed the labels or tags or utilized the product?

Do I have the right to return items?

Almost. Items returned for satisfaction should be in reasonable condition.

Resellable means that the item is well-maintained, rarely used, and performs as if it were brand new.

The members come here for value. However, even the best items can last for a long time.

Things will eventually get worn out and be damaged due to the elements, negligence, accidents, and misuse; therefore, those situations cannot be covered and aren’t eligible for return.

MEC might also decide not to accept an item back if it has passed its useful life even if it isn’t damaged or was not used.

Fuel, bear spray, food, and beverages are sold out.

To protect hygiene, products like face masks, hygiene devices, socks, and undergarments (including various types of swimwear, bottoms for underwear as well as bike chamois) are not eligible for return or exchanges unless they are not worn and are unused and in their original packaging with tags still intact. Base layers are not undergarments.

Electronics can be returned within 90 days after the date of purchase.

What is the best way to return items?

Returning products can be done at any store or sent returns by mail.

All returned items should be returned in good condition and with the original packaging intact.

The purchaser’s responsibility is the cost and the risk of returning or exchanging the product.

After receiving the package, you should carefully check all the items.

The courier has to be informed of breakages and shortages before delivery.

Mec is unable to (at our choice) accept any claim for shortages or breaks unless they are noted in the document provided by the courier.

Refunds or replacements will be offered for any damaged or defective goods after receiving them.

 

Returns Conditions

All items returned are to be returned within the identical state in the same condition they were received.

To guarantee complete credit, the item must be brand new, unopened, and in original condition, including all documents, parts, and accessories.

We will not issue refunds for items showing any misuse or improper handling.

Once we have received the package, we’ll check the item’s quality before deciding to swap the size or refund the returned item.

Remember that if a return is by post, MAISON DU MEC will not take carriage dues or payments upon delivery. We will not be able to pay for the cost of return or delivery.

Refund the item.

After submitting your return on the internet, you’ll be asked to create pre-paid return labels. Simply attach the label outside the package to be returned and drop the return in one of the US Postal Service boxes.

Refunds for gift cards will be made in the form of an electronic Gift Card in the first 24 hours after receiving the returned item(s).

 

Mec Return Policy for in-store Purchase

We’ll accept store-based returns or exchanges for unused and undamaged items bought from any of our locations or henorthface.com (please note the items you purchase using PayPal, Klarna, or Apple Pay are not eligible for return in-store.)

For a complete refund or credit, you must meet the following requirements:

1. The original receipt in the packing slip or an exchange receipt from your purchase.

2. The ability to display the order’s details through an account at Thenorthface.Com.

Returns made without the original receipt or exchange receipt or the information of an online account only be exchanged at the lowest cost for the item(s) or at the sole discretion of the store management.

Returns are credited to the original method of payment. If the purchase was made using a credit card, we’d reimburse your purchase only when the original cardholder is present and using identical credit cards. If the authorized cardholder and the original card aren’t present, we can issue a credit to the store.
