Monroe Clinic was found by the five physicians to offer community care in both specialized and primary medicine in 1939. The physicians include Dr. Leurner E. Creasy, Dr. W.B. Gnagi Jr, Dr. John A. Schindler, Dr. Wilson G. Bear, Dr.Nathan E. Bear.
The same year 1939 the congregation of the sister of st. Agnes opens St. Clare hospital in Monroe encourages by Monroe Clinic founding physicians. Their mission is to provide care including all sick, Poor and the vulnerable.
The connection between the Mind, Body, and soul is the main philosophy behind the Monroe Clinic’s care.
