Dr. Donald C. Hansen is the owner of Shelby Vet Clinic. In 1974 he purchased the veterinary clinic. The clinic staff is very proud to offer quality pet care to Southwest Iowa and East Central Nebraska. They open their clinic 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. In, 1973 Dr. Donald completed his graduation from the Iowa State University of Veterinary Medicine. Now he lived with his family in rural Avoca, IA. His son and daughter completed graduation from Iowa State University and worked at this clinic. Dr. Donald retired after 45 years of service in March 2019.
Dr. Adam C. Hansen
In May 2010 Dr. Adam completed his graduation from Iowa State University of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 2005. Dr. Adam’s professional interests include Bovine Production medicine, Surgery, Small Animal Medicine, and equine Medicine.
Dr. Brandi L. Huddle
In May 2008, Dr. Brandi completed her Veterinary degree from Iowa State University of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Brandi completed her schooling at Tri-Center High School and also received a Bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University. Her veterinary interest includes surgery and small & large animal medicine.
