In 1970, the Red door clinic starts its journey. They are a response to the growing number of rooms for sexual health care. Today Red Door clinic is Minnesota’s largest HIV clinic and a milestone for health care services in Hennepin County. They treat 12 years of age and older.
Their nurses and doctors are specially trained in the detection and treatment of sexual infections. Employees recommend proper examination and treatment based on their sexual health care review.

1〉 STD
Anyone who has sex can get STD, also called STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection). Many people do not know that they have been infected because they have no symptoms. STD can cause serious kind of health problems and increase the risk of HIV infection.
Chlamydia
This is spread by anal, vaginal and oral sex with an infected person. Women’s symptoms include Bleeding between period, Burning and pain during peeing.
Genital Herpes
Genital Herpes is a virus. It can be spread by the Skin to Skin contact including anal, oral and vaginal sex.
If any person infected for the first time can also have swollen glands, body aches, and Fever.
Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea is spread by anal, oral and vaginal sex. It can cause anus, vagina, throat, Penis, and rectum.
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis A is normally spread through contaminated water, Food. But it can also spread during sex.
After infection symptoms appear within two to six weeks. Symptoms include Stomach Pain, Feeling tired, fever, Grey colored poop, Joint pain, dark urine, joint pain, upset stomach, Yellow skin, and eye.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B spread when vaginal fluid, semen, blood enter infected person to another person. This situation can happen during sex, sharing syringe, needle or other tools for injecting drugs.
Symptoms include Joint pain, yellow skin, and eye, stomach pain, fever, grey-colored poop, feeling tired, Upset stomach.
Hepatitis C
It is usually spread when infected person blood enters another person by sharing a needle. Hepatitis C also spread by contaminated tattoo needles. It is rarely spread during sex. With this virus, many people do not have any symptoms.
Some symptoms include the upset stomach, dark urine, joint pain, yellow skin and eye, grey-colored poop.
Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
HPV is spread by oral, anal and vaginal sex. Any person who sexually very much active can get HPV. You may have or may not have any symptoms.
Lymphogranuloma Venereum (LGV)
LGV spread by anal, oral and vaginal sex.
Some early symptoms include painless sore, soft red, throat or mouth.
Later symptoms include Bleeding from the anus, pain in the lower back or stomach, fever, joint pain, chills, tiredness, not feeling hungry.
MucoPurulent Cervicitis (MPC)
Mucopurulent cervicitis is an infection in women’s cervix. It is spread during sex. It can also cause Gonorrhea, Trichomonas, and Chlamydia.
Non- Gonococcal Urethritis (NGU)
NGU is spread during sex. It is an infection inside a man’s penis. Symptoms include burning or itching feeling inside the penis.
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
Pelvic inflammatory disease is an infection in women’s reproductive organs. It frequently caused by STD likes Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.
Syphilis
Syphilis is spread by the contact skin to skin and also anal, oral and vaginal sex. It starts with an open sore that does not hurt.
Trichomoniasis
During sex, Trich is spread. For men and women, most infections happen in the genital area.
Symptoms in Man and women include
Burning after peeing or Ejaculating, Feeling irritation inside the penis, Itching, Burning, red and sore genitals.

HIV is a virus. It can weaken your body’s immune system to fight against illness and It can lead to AIDS. It is usually spread by the vaginal, oral sex and also sharing needle, cookers, cotton.
After infection, some people develop flu-like symptoms for two to four weeks. But most people don’t have any symptoms for many years.
