In 1966, south Austin medical clinic found by Henry Dittert, MD. There were five physicians at that time and the office is located at 2222 western Trials Blvd.
On July 4, 1985, the clinic relocates to 2555 western Tails Blvd. The clinic made electronic medical records in 2002. In 2004 the six physicians are practicing at South Austin Medical Clinic. The office is remodeled in the 2005 summer season.
Since 1966 the South Austin Medical clinic has been an important part of the Austin Community. The patients who were first brought here as children now bring their children and grandchildren to the clinic. They are very proud of this fact.

South Austin medical clinic lab only available for patients. They can not draw labs ordered by another doctor. If you have a quick request before you draw blood, please do not eat or drink anything other than water for 12 hours before being seen.
2〉 Urgent care
There doctors ‘on-call’ to provide urgent care to all their patients. The doctors will not accept any appointment until the call day begins at 7 am. Their doctors are always available on the day of your illness or injury. If you can not find a doctor, you will need to work with a call doctor. This ensures the continuity of your medical care and saves you time and money involve in emergency room care.
3〉 Travel Medicine
Whether for business or pleasure, traveling abroad can present a unique set of challenges. If you are planning an international trip, consider scheduling an appointment with one of their doctors to discuss, which travel medicine or vaccine might be right for you. Dr. Weidmann graduate from the university of texas at Austin, College of engineering. In 1985 he completes his doctor of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern medical school in Dallas. In 1989 He joins SAMC is a diplomate of the American board of family practice.
2〉 Ian S. Alward, MD
Dr. Alward graduate from the Indiana university school of medicine in Indianapolis in 1999. Alward receives his certificate from the American Board of family medicine. In 2006 he joins the SAMC.

Dr. Michael is trained at UMC Brackenridge and Dell children hospital. Since 2006 he practices medicine in Austin. He completed his doctorates from the University of Toledo College of medicine. Michael is a diplomate of the American Board of family medicine. In 2013 he joins SAMC.
8〉 Celia Servin, MD
Dr. Celia is a graduate of the University of Texas medical branch in 2011. In 2014 she graduates from the Waco family medicine residency program. In 2015 Dr. Celia joins the South Austin Medical clinic. In profession, her interest in women’s health, international medicine, Pediatrics, and outpatient procedures. She also enjoys traveling, running, and playing with her dogs.
